The one thing that I am having trouble with being in France, is the fact that it shuts for lunch. Everything shuts for two to three hours in the middle of the day. It was quite nice to begin with,but now it seems nuts. When you go into big towns like Beziers there are more shops staying open.They must be thinking that in the current financial climate,it makes no sense paying rent and staff and locking up when everyone else is walking past on their lunch hour. Perhaps it is me. Being from London, where everything stays open seven days a week. Spolit boy !.
