Today I should have been finishing putting the new cables under my kitchen floor. But when I got up the sun was out, so I thought blow the cables, I will go to Brick Lane. This is in an area of London called Spitalfields in the east end. I love this area
it has the atmosphere of history, it was here that Jack the Ripper did his deeds, and it has not changed much architecturally
since he roamed the streets. And now it has developed into a funky place for great food and design. I mean where else would someone buy two old tube carriages put them on the roof and use them as offices ?. Cool ? Sub zero.
This made me laugh, it looked like whoever had been sitting on the chair had been scared and ran away.
Then I had a very nice smoked salmon and cream cheese bagel, this shop never shuts it's doors. if you go here at about two o clock in the morning there are girls in ball gowns with chaps in tuxedos along side cor blimey cab drivers....all having a lovely hot bagel......
