It was a sad day yesterday. Back in March 2007 I posted about a friend of mine who had been diagnosed with MND. Well yesterday it was his funeral. The chapel was packed, and he had a guard of honour from the London Fire Brigade. He will be much missed. A lovely man.
Meanwhile, something faintly spooky has happened.
About three years ago I was having a look on eBay for things to do with Bexhill on Sea. I bought a note about a film being shown at the De La Warr pavillon in the war. It was a film about how to treat bomb casualties.
The letter was typed by someone who lived in the house that is at the bottom of our new garden.
What are the chances of that ?
