They said on the radio that the Thames was
due to flood. When I arrived the river was
high,but not near flooding.
It is amazing to see just how fast the river
flows. They were still plenty of hardy types
going out rowing from the unniversity boat
clubs. Although there were more on the balcony
having a pint than those up to their waists
in cold water.
This is a homage to Lettuce
