Utter madness

I have just got back from a trip to Soho on my motorcycle. It was hell. The traffic jams and the fumes were unbearable.
The one thing that you notice is that nearly all of the vehicles are either buses or taxis. Most of the buses are empty
and the bendy buses cause so much trouble as they do not fit the roads. If proof is needed that the congestion charge
does not work, just try riding a harley into town and see just how fast you move. And then try and find somewhere to
park when you get there. Three more tilers coming tonight...... the last two wanted the highest amount yet £2.500.
How hard can it be to get some tiles on the wall ?. Very it would seem.............

What an extortionate amount for tiling! I had a guy who tiled the floor in our sun-room for only £300! London prices are dreadful!

I have always found building inside the M25 cheaper as the Eastern Europeans drive the costs down. It is far more expensive to get the work done on the outside perihperies of the M25. You could try a construction labour agency, or Bellevue Ceramics in Dartford, they are a wharehouse/ importers but the suppply to a lot of good tylers. Speak to Phillip Roberts Tel: 01322 277877. I have used them on a number of jobs and I can vouch for them.

AFC 30K Thanks very much for that I think that I have found someone...

Lettuce... Thanks, but it would not work. How would you get the tiles on straight with your right hand stuck to your face. I suppose I could always help ?.

It's the 7th of May Martin. Could we have a new post please? One that's not about tiles?
