We went to the 'Holly Fair' on Saturday. It was held in the village hall that we go to the farmers market in. There was mulled wine and mince pies. A tombola, I won a bottle of lemon juice(?).
There was quite a crowd. I bought a strip of raffle tickets for a pound and we hung around until the numbers were called. I let Wendy hold them as I never win at raffles. It paid off. We won four tickets to the pantomime Peter Pan at The White Rock in Hastings. They are for the night after the boys arrive for Christmas. What a splendid piece of luck.
