I have put together a selection of my favourite American cars. The designers of these cars seemed to have no limits put on their ideas. It was a wonderful period in American car design history.

And as I will never own one of these, unless I win the Lotto, here is the car that I will be looking for when we are settled. I have always loved this car, as it was the car that Jim Rockford drove in The Rockford Files. It is a Pontiac Firebird from around 77-78. You can get a good condition car for around $10.000 that's about £5000. A bargain in anyones book.
