We went yesterday to do a very large wash so we have clean clothes for our adventure. The laundry that we went to is run by the council. It is used by elderly people and people that do not have access to a washing machine. While we were in there it was packed. It is almost a meeting place for ederly friends to meet and chat and be in the warm. What are the wonderful council doing ?. Shutting it down. As of Sunday at 3pm it will close. No more meeting place, no more cheap clean clothes. It is shameful. No doubt the cheese and wine parties at the town hall will not be cut back........... shameful.
