It's not like this on the tele......

The car journey to Luton airport was fun. Lots to talk about and lots of traffic. There are huge roadworks on the M1 and I missed the junction for the airport. Miss sat nav had been turned down as she just keeps on and on, keep left keep right.
Anyway we did get to the airport in time and entered the terminal to see huge queues at all the easyjet check ins. A line was
picked and we joined. Then came a clue that this may be a relationship " What you can do is go and get me a sandwich".
That voice is so fantastic anything sounds sexy.. so off to M&S for a BLT and a salmon and cucumber and two juices.
When I returned the line had moved on well. And we munched on the food. Before we knew it we were at the counter and
the bag with red zips was moving off on the belt. There was not much time until the plane would board so Wendy had to go
through. We said our goodbyes, shook hands and then I watched as the escaltor took Wendy away. There was a little wobble in the heart, as she went out of sight. Back to the carpark, and I realised that I had not looked at where I was parking when we arrived, so I wandered around looking for the car for about twenty minutes. It was funny driving home as all that was left were
half eaten packets of Hob Nobs and empty Volvic bottles. I don't think that I will clear them out for a while,as it reminds me of
a fantastic time spent with a wondeful wonderful girl. Then laying in bed last night the phone goes and that voice says " I am home safe". The end of a incredible week. The first of many I hope. Fingers crossed.

I'd love to leave a decent comment but I'm crap with all that mushy romantic stuff (just ask Wifey).

As an Aussie mate of mine would say "good on yer Blue".

Martin, hi, I have been blogging with Wendy for a while now, and you have met a great woman. All the very best to you.

John G Thank you. Wendy is indeed a wonderful woman, I know that I am very very lucky.
