Baguettes are good. Very very good. But a banette is even better...It's a bit saltier, has more texture and is my fave bread. Can't get it at every boulangerie though - it's a special bread and only a few bakers do it. Well worth hunting it down.top fillings:country ham, comte, grainy mustard and cornichonsegg mayo with rocket and baby tomatoessaucisson, sliced spanish onion, roasted peppers..
My taste buds are tingling...........
Er, Martin.... I think Wendz missed the point of what you were trying to say...I think baguettes is very nice too, although I have never actually met baguette.
